Entrepreneur Mental Health Assessment Manager

Reports to: Michael A. Freeman, M.D., Founder and CEO, Econa  

Time commitment: Part time; flexible to accommodate your schedule 

Qualifications: Experience with administering and interpreting psychometric assessment of personality and mental health conditions; statistics and statistical software; on-line survey research; database construction and management; and individualized assessment report generation. Doctoral-level education is a plus. 

Compensation: Commensurate with experience  

About Econa: Econa is a science-based emerging entrepreneur mental wellness social impact resource serving international entrepreneurs, and global innovation ecosystems.  

Position description: Entrepreneurs constitute a unique population with a well-specified underlying set of mental health differences that are often associated with mental health conditions. Symptoms of these conditions, when present, may lead to adverse outcomes for the individual entrepreneur as well as for their companies. Entrepreneur mental health problems thus have ripple effects that impact the entrepreneur, loved ones, employees, customers, suppliers, and the innovation ecosystem more broadly. 

There currently are no screening and assessment instruments or protocols designed to evaluate mental health issues among entrepreneurs. Econa’s entrepreneur mental health assessment manager will curate relevant validated psychometric instruments for this purpose, and will participate in building an on-line assessment and screening platform for entrepreneurs. This platform will build upon available models such as the on-line assessment platform hosted by the Mental Health Association of America (Mental Health America). Domains to be assessed include specific personality traits, mental health conditions, demographic information and business outcomes.
